Pixel 6 ‘Pro’ Leaks Suggest iPhone 12 Pro Max Display Size, More Models - Forbes

Reports say Google is “bringing its A-game” to the Pixel 6 lineup. That could mean cooler designs with large screens that rival a large next-generation iPhone.

Early renders of the Google Pixel 6 Pro show a 6.67-inch curved display — a Pixel first — that has a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera up front, according to OnLeaks and Digit.in.

That would put the display in the same league as the 6.7‑inch iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Pixel 6 Pro:

• 6.67-inch curved display
• Triple rear camera
• In-display fingerprint sensor
• Wireless charging and bottom-firing stereo speakers

But the back is where the design gets interesting. The overhaul (with a two-toned orange and black color scheme at top) includes a black “horizontal camera island” that houses three cameras, Digit says.

The rendered design, if accurate, is fetching. Yes, Apple will sell a ton of next-generation iPhones but that doesn’t mean the iPhone 13 will win any beauty contests since it isn’t expected to depart noticeably from the iPhone 12.

Aside from a massive (by Google standards) display, the Pixel 6 Pro should have a bezel-less design with the exception of a small chin, according to Digit.in.

Also expect to see an in-screen fingerprint sensor.

Variants — a smaller Pixel, less cameras

The first leaks of the phone came from Front Page Tech showing renders of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro (reportedly no Pixel XL this time).

The smaller 6.4-inch Pixel 6 looks like it will follow the Pro’s design design scheme featuring the two-toned orange and black on back at the top, according to a 91Mobiles report on Friday.

Smaller Pixel 6:

• 6.4-inch flat display
• dual rear camera
• in-display fingerprint sensor
• wireless charging and bottom-firing stereo speakers

But instead of three cameras, you get two cameras on the smaller Pixel reportedly.

If the two phones are released by Google that would be a change from last year when Google only offered a single model, the Pixel 5 (though a Pixel 5a is rumored for this year).
