Christmas photography tips for iPhone users: You can follow these easy steps to shoot good-looking Christmas photos.

Christmas is knocking on the doors and that means time to click good looking photos. If you have got an iPhone recently, it gives you more reasons take it out and point the lenses at the Christmas trees or cheerful Santas. But does your photography technique include simply pointing the cameras and click? If that is so, you should read this.

No matter how good and capable cameras your iPhone may holds, it still needs a pair of smart ideas to get the most out of them. A little adjustment here and some tweaking there, and you can ensure some professional DSLR quality photos.

Some of these tips will work only on the iPhone 13 series devices while the others will work on most older iPhone model with ultra-wide cameras.

- No flash! Most of your Christmas photos will be taken at night and since there will be lights, let your iPhone camera do its magic. The camera in its auto mode without the flash can shoot some spectacular photos of the Christmas lights and trees. The flash light only spoils the colour tones and exposures.

- Try shooting your photo in the portrait orientation instead of landscape, unless you have to capture a group photo. If you share your photos on social media, you won't have to crop a lot of the photo in that case.

- The ultra-wide camera on your iPhone can capture a lot of the scenery. Hence, if you are taking a photo inside a Church or indoors, you will be able to capture a lot in a wide-angle perspective.

- If you have an iPhone 13 series model, you can experiment with Photography Styles. You can choose between Warm and Cool modes to get the best results.

- Shoot as many photos as you want. You can always filter out the best ones from the bunch . Sometimes, taking multiple random photos can give you the best candid photos.

- If you have an iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 12 Pro, you can use its telephoto camera to shoot portraits of your family and friends. This will work much better than the Portrait mode, which has a tendency to blur out thing unnaturally and cut out cool accessories.
