An update on IPT’s injured riders:
Jakob Fuglsang: After withdrawing from UAE Tour, Jakob Fuglsang was diagnosed with epididymitis which requires a three-week antibiotic treatment. Once the inflammation has reduced, Jakob will be able to return to training and resume his preparation for the Ardennes Classics.
Reto Hollenstein: Reto Hollenstein crashed during Strade Bianche and sustained a left distal radius fracture. Fortunately, no surgery is required, however, Reto will require one week off the bike before he can start training again on the home trainer. His recovery will be monitored but Reto will likely return to racing in 4-6 weeks.
Cole Kessler: After sustaining a right clavicle fracture in Rwanda, Cole returned to Europe and underwent successful surgery to stabilise the fracture. Cole has resumed light training and will make his return to racing at the beginning of April.
