AI won't replace real-life flirting, say Ireland's matchmakers - The Times

Some Irish dating agencies have begun using artificial intelligence (AI) to assist clients with conversations and dating tips, but their owners are wary of using it as a matchmaking tool.

Mairéad Loughman, owner of Love HQ, a matchmaking and dating agency, is using AI to help clients develop their flirting skills. “It’s great for helping clients with things such the art of conversation and first date tips,” she said.

“You can use AI to develop your skill set for being more attractive to a date or being more engaging with the date. I’ve obviously been doing this for years, but I’m always researching. I use a bit of ChatGPT to get the optimum information.”
