RØDE Announces Dual Transmitter Version Of Wireless ME - Forbes

Australian audio brand RØDE has announced the launch of a limited-edition of its incredibly popular and affordable Wireless ME wireless microphone. The grab-and-go wireless mic has been a massive hit with content creators and can often be seen on Instagram and TikTok reels.

RØDE began the revolution for compact and affordable wireless mics with the launch of the Wireless GO, the world’s first truly wireless and wearable microphone system. The Wireless GO turned the market upside down due to its compact size and professional audio quality, bringing much more professional sound to video production.

Since the launch of the Wireless GO, the market for wireless microphones has mushroomed and there are now countless brands challenging the market leader. RØDE continued its innovation with the Wireless GO II, Wireless PRO and Wireless ME products. And now the Wireless ME is being released as a limited-edition dual set, featuring two transmitters and one receiver. The new version will be available in black or white.

The Wireless ME offers the same sound quality and features as RØDE’s more expensive wireless mics. In addition to Series IV 2.4GHz digital transmission and universal compatibility with cameras, smartphones and computers, the Wireless ME incorporates RØDE’s GainAssist technology, which uses intelligent algorithms to adjust audio levels, ensuring perfect audio in almost any recording application.

GainAssist makes the Wireless ME easy to use, especially for content creators without a technical background. The Wireless ME is the only wireless microphone with a mic built into the receiver so audio can be recorded from in front and behind the camera at the same time, making it ideal for capturing interviews or adding voiceovers to video content.

The dual-transmitter version of the Wireless ME will unlock more creative possibilities by enabling seamless recording of two subjects, or even three when using the built-in mic on the receiver unit. The option to order the Wireless ME in white instead of the original black will be welcomed by content creators looking for a more discreet solution when, say, onscreen talent is wearing lighter clothing.

The launch of the limited-edition Dual Wireless ME in white follows the recent release of the limited-edition white collection of RØDE products, including the RØDECaster Duo, PodMic, PSA1+ and NTH-100 headphones.

Pricing & Availability: The RØDE dual Wireless ME will be available in Spring 2024 and priced at $199 in U.S.
